In addition to the the 'Pro' model, the player has an additional feature called "match play" mode. The Professional Player, like the standard Professional also incorporates a built-in
2-line drill which allows individuals to hit alternate forehand and
backhand deliveries.
Also useful for providing 2-line drills in large group coaching
sessions. A popular option for coaches and home court users
alike.
Ball speed - can be pre-set at any speed from 18 to 60mph. Top speed cannot be achieved when spin is applied (the figures demonstrated on the panel of 19 to 85 are arbitrary and do not reflect actual speed)
Ball interval - can be pre-set at any interval from 2 to 12 seconds (on dial marked 1 to 10)
Ball elevation - can be pre-set at any fixed angle from 15 to 45 degrees.
Ball direction – variable and 2-line oscillating functions or any fixed direction.
Ball spin - can be pre-set to give medium topspin through to no spin through to medium underspin - when the two central LED’s are lit – no spin is applied (if the spin setting is changed it will automatically change the overall speed up or down)
Oscillator - continual side to side sweep movement to a repetitive (operator set) depth, at factory set oscillating-speed and width.
2-line facility - offers single alternate forehand and backhand feed of the same shot to either side of court centre to a repetitive (operator set) depth.
Player mode – ‘Beginner’ – automatically selects factory default settings for ball speed, ball elevation, ball spin and ball interval (which can be adjusted to suit individual needs, before starting the function). The selected shot is then fired across approximately 75% of the singles court width at a repetitive depth in pseudo-random fashion.
Player mode – ‘Intermediate’ – as Beginner mode with different default settings including increased ball speed, increased ball spin, lower ball elevation and decreased ball interval (shorter interval between deliveries)
Player mode – ‘Advanced’ – as Intermediate mode with different default settings including increased ball speed, increased ball spin, lower ball elevation and decreased ball interval (shorter interval between deliveries)
